Jesse Baird attended a birthday party with accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon less than a year before his alleged murder – as police documents claim housemates of the ex-Channel 10 star prodded his body while it lay under tarpaulin.
The bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and his flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies, 29, were left in the rear courtyard of his rented Paddington townhouse for several hours after the pair were allegedly shot dead by Lamarre-Condon, 28, on February 19.
A female housemate approached and prodded one of two surfboard bags covered by a blue tarpaulin at about 5.40pm, according to police documents.
She told police the contents felt ‘lumpy, not like it had a surfboard inside’ and that she had also noticed red-stained pavers underneath the bags.
The woman assumed the tiles had been stained by beetroot juice spilt by Mr Baird, who was known by his fellow tenants for being ‘messy’, the documents say.
The housemates exchanged messages and took photos of the tarpaulin-covered bags as well as a blood-stained outdoor lounge, police will allege.
It comes as a new photo emerges of Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon attending the 60th birthday party of his mother, Coleen Lamarre.
The photo, which pictures both men smiling in smart party shirts, was taken less than a year before Lamarre-Condon would be charged with Mr Baird’s murder.

Another photo shows Coleen Lamarre standing in between her son and daughter Jamila
Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon had previously had what police described as an ‘off and on’ romance but Mr Baird had not wanted to pursue a relationship.
The pair were pictured smiling side-by-side at the Balmain Sailing club in Sydney’s inner west at the party in March, 2023.
Another photo shows Coleen Lamarre standing inbetween her son and her daughter Jamila Lamarre-Condon, who holds a young child.
Police will allege Lamarre-Condon arrived at Mr Baird’s Paddington terrace armed with his NSW Police service gun on the morning of February 19.
He allegedly shot Mr Baird and Mr Davies at around 9.50am.

Lamarre-Condon then allegedly picked up the bodies from the Paddington home in a white rental van 12 hours later and took them to a remote farm property in Bungonia, around 180km south-west of Sydney.
It is alleged the senior constable then returned to the site to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia about 20 minutes’ drive away.
Human remains belonging to Mr Davies and Mr Baird were discovered stuffed inside surf bags and buried in a shallow bush grave on Tuesday afternoon.
Lamarre-Condon is currently in Silverwater Correctional Complex, in Sydney’s west.
His matter is before the courts.
