Met Eireann pinpoints day stunning weather takes hold as temperatures hit 22C
Met Éireann has pinpointed when scorching 22C temperatures are set to take hold as rain clears away for spells of sunshine.
While the national forecaster has confirmed some rain and drizzle for Wednesday, developing in the west and moving up along the country, later this week, we will see temperatures soar, reaching a sunny 22C for Saturday.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather also gave a nod that temperatures would hit past 20C, telling his followers that things could hit 21C by Friday.
“Some bright spells Tuesday but a lot of cloud around too, up to 17C or 18C” he wrote. “A chance of a shower Wednesday especially in Northwest but very little rainfall up to Saturday night and temperatures could hit 21C by Friday with more in the way of sunshine.”
Met Éireann has predicted highs of 20C to kick in on Thursday as sunny weather takes hold and rain and drizzle from earlier in the week move off, with the mercury set to increase to 21C on Friday before glorious spells of 22C set in for the weekend.
