THE Malabon City government has inaugurated several infrastructure projects, Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said on Wednesday.
Sandoval said these include the 9-meter footbridge on Letre Creek, the improved Delos Santos Road 2 and 3, as well as the widening of the drainage on Delos Santos Road.
“Its opening was further expanded from 0.8 meters to [1] meter to prevent clogging that is the cause of flooding in the area,” City Administrator Alexander Rosete said.
He added that on top of the 14 new roads that were built, the drainage system in the villages of Tañong, Longos, Hulong Duhat, Potrero, Muzon, Tonsuya and Maysilo had undergone maintenance work since Sandoval became Mayor in 2022.
