The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan talks about the “terrible” mistakes made by key Labor figures regarding Defence.
“Anthony Albanese and Richard Marles made very good speeches on Defence in Opposition – they seemed to have a good understanding of the problem,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin.
‘If you want change, don’t do that’: Labor MP’s ‘terrible’ Defence mistake revealed
“Marles’ first mistake was to reappoint all the senior Defence and civilian leaders in the Defence establishment.
“If you want a change of cultural direction, you don’t do that.
“Reappointing everybody who has given you this terrible performance over the years.”
