McDonald’s UK is offering families a Happy Meal for just £1.99 from 28th March until 14th April – perfect for the Easter holidays.
The restaurant is collaborating with multiplayer card game Uno, for this limited-edition meal featuring characters from several DreamWorks Animation franchises.
The Happy Meal, discounted by 40 per cent, will be available at McDonald’s restaurants across the nation.
All you need to do to get your hands on it is download the McDonald’s app and go to the offers section.
The new Uno Happy Meal will be available at McDonald’s restaurants across the nation for a discounted price of £1.99
The family friendly game has six card packs available, including the classic Uno card pack and five card packs with designs featuring well-known DreamWorks film characters from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Trolls and Megamind.
Randomly allocated, this means you could stroll into a store and end up bagging either a Happy Meal with the standard UNO card pack, or one with your favourite film characters.
However, if there’s a particular character you’re after, McDonald’s invites customers to politely ask if it’s available.
And families looking for a book instead of a toy can opt for one of two Little People Big Dreams books – I Can Be an Astronaut or a I Can Be a Brave Adventurer.
As usual, the Happy Meal contains a choice of Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an Apple and Grape bag or Carrot Bag side, plus drink options including water, milk, or Fruit Shoot.
This comes after the brand unveiled plans for a limited-edition adult happy meal in America.
Consumers can choose between a Big Mac Adult Meal and a 10-piece McNugget Meal with fries and their choice of soft drink.
McDonald’s partnered with New York native Kerwin Frost in December – an entertainer and street style influencer, to create the Kerwin Frost Box and brand new McNugget Buddies inspired by the 1990s.
The restaurant is collaborating with multiplayer card game Uno, for this limited-edition meal featuring characters from DreamWorks Animation franchises
There was a total of six McNugget Buddies: Kerwin Frost, Uptown Moe, Waffutu, BRRRICK, Darla, and Don Bernice.
The Kerwin Frost Box was available for a limited time at participating US and select worldwide McDonald’s restaurants, and debuted on December 11.
All of the dolls featured in the Kerwin Frost Box are members of Frost Way is where ‘everyone is welcome to be exactly who they are’.
Each doll is wearing an outfit inspired by Kerwin’s childhood and belief that ‘everyone should feel free to express themselves’.
They also have individual names and personalities that make each toy stand out in their own way.
