The Summer Sessions event in Edinburgh has been moved to the Royal Highland Showground

Edinburgh’s Summer Sessions have announced a new headliner, with an “arena-filling” band set to hit the stage at the Royal Highlands Showgrounds.

The “multi platinum-selling, BRIT award-winning” group Catfish and the Bottlemen will be performing on August 24. The band released new single Showtime on February 22, and are beginning a “new chapter”.

When their cryptic Instagram teaser was posted, speculation between fans suggested it was new music or a tour.
