March Bears continued their unbeaten record in Eastern Counties Division One West with a 68-17 victory against a side who pushed them very close at March earlier in the season.
Bears ran in ten tries over the game compared to Cantabs’ three with the marvellous boot of Sam Howat converting nine of them.
The home side began the onslaught with three tries in the first 15 minutes.

An excellent break by Harvey Davies fed Sam Chapman to go under the posts.
Bryn Pughsley added a second before Howat scored number three following a great interception and run to the try line.
Cantabs replied, but Chapman picked up his second score and with only a quarter of the game gone Bears led 28-7.
Two more unconverted scores saw the visitors reduce the Bears’ lead to just 11 points at the break.
March registered six unanswered tries in the second half, five of which were converted by Howat, with Sam Chapman opportunistically gathering the ball to force his way and under the posts to complete his first-ever hat-trick.
Four minutes later, Will Penney got in the act when working with Sam Chapman to take an excellent try before further scores from Pughsey, Jonny Larham, Harvey Brown and Adam Boxall.
