Manchester United are planning for at least 10 departures this summer as part of a mass clear-out at Old Trafford and will listen to offers for £85million flop Antony.
Changes are already underway off the pitch following Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS assuming control of the club’s football operations.
Omar Berrada has already been poached from Manchester City to become United’s new chief executive with Newcastle United’s sporting director Dan Ashworth targeted for the new set-up at Old Trafford.
On the pitch, United hope to sign a striker, a midfielder, a centre-half and a right-back during the summer transfer window but must be wary of the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules.
Selling players will be their best course of action with Ratcliffe and INEOS identifying a number of ‘sellable assets’, the Manchester Evening News report.
Among those is Brazilian winger Antony with United expecting to entertain offers for his services at the end of the season. The 24-year-old, United’s second-most expensive signing in history, has not scored a league goal since April last year.
Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek and Hannibal Mejbri left the club in January to join Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Sevilla respectively on loan until the end of the season.

The trio are expected to be made available for sale with Benfica also holding the option to sign Alvaro Fernandez after his loan arrival last month.
Sofyan Amrabat will return to Fiorentina when his loan spell ends having struggled in the Premier League with Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial and Tom Heaton out of contract at the end of the season.
Martial and Varane’s departure would trim the club’s sizeable wage budget with clubs in Saudi Arabia interested in signing the defender, along with his former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Facundo Pellistri will have a year left on their respective contracts come the end of the season and could also represent opportunities to raise funds.
A decision is also to be made on Mason Greenwood. The striker joined Getafe on a season-long loan last summer after the club made a U-turn on plans o reintegrate him into the team after charges of attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault were dropped last February.
While he could represent United’s one of United’s most profitable pieces of business, Ratcliffe has indicated he could still have a future at Old Trafford.
