The children environment should be planned to avoid not only concussion, but also any kind of trauma. This way, access to stairs or any object that a child can climb and fall need to be somehow restricted. It should also be noted that a concussion can happen after a heavy object hits the child’s head. What makes significant to avoid placing those kinds of objects in a fashion that might cause an accident. In playgrounds, covering walls and others surfaces with padded material can help. Concussions can be prevented by wearing a helmet or any protective soft pillow covered around head. Everytime parents should pay attention to light blow and should rule out concussions.
