Mamelodi Sundowns close in on Bafana Bafana International!

Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be closing in on the signing of a Bafana Bafana star ahead of next season.

Sundowns were already busy in the previous transfer window and look set to add Jayden Adams to their side.

Despite already cruising in the DStv Premiership, Sundowns were the most active side in the January window. The Brazilians already had a nine-point gap on second placed Cape Town City, with three games in hand at the time. That did not stop them from pursuing a squad boost ahead of the second half of the season. Of course for them, they also have to factor continental commitments with hopes of a Club FIFA World Cup too.

Now with that on the horizon, Sundowns went and signed the Likes of Zukho Mdunyelwa, Matias Esquivel. Then when everybody thought that they had strengthened enough, they add Thembinkosi Lorch and Tashreeq Matthews. The Rulani Mokwena-led side are showing no signs of slowing down on the transfer market ahead of next season. Adams will now form part of their squad next season.

According to Soccer-Laduma Adams is expected to be a Sundowns player albeit the official announcement being at the end of the season.

“Expect Jayden Adams to join Sundowns at the end of the season from Stellenbosch. Talks have been ongoing behind the scenes and things look promising between all the parties involved and the announcement is expected to be made at the end of the season,” said the source.

TSA knows it is a done deal
