Madge sends Origin message to Latrell

A friendly catch up reminiscing on their five years together at the Storm, but now the battle lines are drawn, Billy Slater and Michael McGuire officially bitter rivals and one thing Blues fans can be certain of, this year will look very different. See, I’ve got a bit of change in where I wanna take the players and and what I’ll do with them. With the Rabbitohs struggling for form, questions are being asked whether that will impact selections, in particular Latrobe, Mitchell. We all know how good Latrell can be. I guess the biggest thing for any player this is, I guess talking to all the players is making sure that you got a pretty clear head around where you are because to be able to be at your best, you know, I think you know, having a clear heads, a very important part of you know what we bring to the camp. One player who has caught the eye of Blues coach is Zach Lomax and he knows. Exactly what position he’d want him for. He’s doing pretty well at the wing at the moment so I’ve been looking him as a winger, but McGuire will be sweating on the fitness of Nathan Cleary Penrith today, confirming he’ll remain sidelined this week and with a hamstring strain. He’s going well. We just, it was probably just a little bit of more awareness at the start than than we sort of thought based on the scan. So we just, yeah, just moved it out a bit and after sitting in the coaches box last year for the Blues games 3V Ivan is pleading with NSW to find a place for Dylan Edwards. He’s current Australian player so not a full back, but I’ve said this before, like dual suits, Origin, you know not everyone does but he I think he does. He wouldn’t let anyone down.
