Light to heavy traffic was experienced on South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Thursday morning amid the Holy Week exodus.

As of 10:54 a.m., the Toll Regulatory Board said that heavy traffic was monitored along Eton, Silangan, Calamba Plaza, Canlubang, and Batino southbound of SLEX.

Other areas that pass through SLEX such as Alabang, Filinvest, Susana Heights, Daang Hari, San Pedro, Southwoods, Carmona, Mamplasan, Sta. Risa, Cabuyao, Calamba, Greenfield, and Sto. Tomas had light traffic both southbound and northbound.

Meanwhile, NLEX Corporation reported that as of 2:10 p.m., there was only light traffic at Balintawak Toll Plaza, Balagtas northbound, and Angeles to Mabalacat northbound.

At 11:10 a.m., light traffic was seen at the Balintawak Toll Plaza and after Pampanga’s San Fernando to Mexico northbound.

Approximately 10-20 kilometers per hour running speed were monitored at the Valenzuela interchange to Meycauayan northbound due to the increased volume of vehicles.

A zipper lane was also activated at the southbound direction of Valenzuela interchange before Ciudad de Victoria northbound.

After Meycauayan to Ciudad de Victoria northbound, there was an estimated 10–20 kph running speed.

A road crash at Petron Marilao was also reported, but the site was already cleared, said NLEX Corporation.

Approximately 30–40 kph running speed was observed after Ciudad de Victoria to Tambubong northbound, while 10–20 kph running speed was seen along the road approaching Shell Buros in Balagtas northbound.

An estimated 10–20 kph running speed was also recorded from Angeles to Mabalacat northbound (ramp going to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway).
