Security expert Lincoln Parker has called out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for being “frightened” of speaking to the Chinese government following its flare stunt.

A Chinese fighter jet dropped flares in front of an Australian Navy helicopter in international waters off the coast of South Korea on Saturday evening.
Defence Minister Richard Marles has labelled the incident ‘both unsafe and unprofessional’.
“He’s frightened,” Mr Parker told Sky News host Erin Molan.
“We’re basically seeing a failed Labor-China policy.”
