Blossom Where You Are Planted

We, human beings are like seeds planted by God in our various families, various religion and nations. Some of us fell into poor families whereas others fell into rich families. Some fell into Christian families while others fell into Muslim or even pagan families. There is no doubt family background may have a lot of influence in people’s lives. Hence, as our Lord Jesus Christ rightly declare in Mark 4:1-20 “The seed that fell on good soil grew up, increased and yielded a hundredfold.” You are that seed that fell on a good soil. Blossom where you are planted!

Child of God, as long as you are connected to our LORD Jesus Christ, you must blossom. Your family background does not really matter. As our Lord Jesus Christ declares in John 15:7- 8 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit.” Jesus wants you to blossom and you must surely blossom!

Child of God, even if you are from the poorest family, as long as you are connected to our LORD Jesus Christ, the True Vine, you must be fruitful. You must surely blossom! Your fruitfulness will surely bring glory to God and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

When God wanted to bless Abraham He did not consider his family background. Instead, He told Abraham in Genesis 12:1-3, “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” You are a channel of blessing! Even if your family background poses as an obstacle to your success and progress, God is ever ready to transplant you to a fertile soil where He will richly bless you as He did to Abraham.

Even if others fail to blossom, always remember, your case is different! You will surely blossom!

As Psalm 1:3 declares, you are like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, your leaf shall not wither; And whatever you do shall prosper. Your business shall prosper! Your family members shall prosper! Your academic and your carrier shall prosper! Your vocation and your marital life shall prosper. I bless the work of your hands! I release favour upon you! Begin to flourish! Begin to excel!! Begin to blossom!!! Goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and you shall continue to blossom forever and ever – Amen!
