BBC The Apprentice start date announced along with line-up of 18 candidates

The Apprentice is returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer with a brand new series for 2024. Season 18 will see Lord Sugar, Baroness Karren Brady, and Tim Campbell MBE make their comeback alongside 18 hopeful candidates.

As usual, the programme will see the hopeful business candidates battle it out for the opportunity of a lifetime for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship. This time around the BBC has promised brand-new tasks, including a a corporate hospitality challenge in the Scottish Highlands, a virtual escape room, and creating children’s cereal.

Classics such as the discount buying and TV shopping channel tasks will be returning. Those in the line-up include a Dragon’s Den reject, two men who own pie companies, a music producer, jeweller, and a boutique fitness studio owner.
