Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 431 Russian invaders and 47 equipment units on Tavria front

Over the last day, February 28, Russian losses in the Tavria direction amounted to 431 invaders. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 47 units of enemy equipment, according to the Tavria Defense Forces.

During the day, Russians:

・carried out 57 airstrikes, 4 missile strikes;

・conducted 64 combat engagements;

・made 1072 artillery attacks.

Avdiivka direction

Ukrainian soldiers repelled 25 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

Novopavlivka direction

Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 38 attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.

Orikhiv direction

Ukrainian military repelled Russian 1 attack in the area east of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

Achievements of Ukrainian military

Russian losses amounted to 431 invaders. Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 47 units of Russian equipment, including:

・10 tanks;

・22 armored personnel carriers;

・7 artillery systems;

・7 vehicles.

“Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another important enemy object. 339 UAVs of various types have been neutralized or destroyed,” the Tavria Defense Forces write.

Russia’s losses in war against Ukraine

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, over the past day, February 28, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 1150 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 413,760 troops.
