In 2023, Korea Times delved into the details of Song Joong Ki’s beachfront condominium in Waikiki Beach — which the star bought at a whooping USD 2 million (Approx. MYR 9.8 million) in 2019 for his private vacations. Another report by Gulf News quoted a real estate specialist — noting two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and panoramic views of the Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach at the property. Italy
Song Joong Ki reportedly met his wife Katy Louise Saunders in Italy — with the latter’s hometown being Rome. No surprises that the two are believed to share a home in the capital. A SPOTTV news report quoted his agency Hijium Studio as stating, “We can only confirm that he lives in Rome, and we cannot confirm in detail.” In line with this, the actor’s announcement of the birth of his first child pointed to the city as well. “I’m in Italy right now. I finally met my baby here in Rome,” he stated. However, the details around the price and configuration of the same are yet to be revealed.

In his home country, Song Joong Ki has managed to curate a very impressive real-estate portfolio — worth about USD 37 million (Approx. MYR 175 million). Sportskeeda reports a luxurious villa worth USD 11 million (Approx. MYR 52 million) in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam — one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in South Korea that also houses the likes of K-pop singer IU. Designed by popular architect Rafael Moneo, the home opens up to a stunning view of the Han River.
This aside, he also owns a two-storey house in Itaewon’s Yongsan-su, which he bought for USD 7 million (Approx. MYR 31.2 million) in 2016. He then remodelled the space. In 2022, a report by AllKpop noted an increase in the property’s value to about USD 14 million (Approx. MYR 66.4 million) He’s also reported to own a home in Nine One Hannam.
Besides this, the actor’s childhood home in Daejeon is open to visitors, turning into somewhat of a tourist attraction. It’s filled with memorabilia — posters, gifts, and stills from his movies and dramas. The value of the property is, however, not known.
