Alexander Isaks Newcastle United tog emot Premier League-jumbon Sheffield United under lördagen. Sheffield var tvungna att vinna matchen för att ha en chans att klara sig kvar i högstaligan.

Den svenska landslagsanfallaren inledde matchen från start för Newcastle – och på andra sidan stod Svensk-bosniern och den tidigare Malmö FF-spelaren Anel Ahmedhodžić. Emil Krafth inledde på bänken för Newcastle.

Matchen hann bara pågå i fem minuter innan Ahmedhodžić slog till på nick.

I den 26:e minuten fick Isak säga sitt och smällde in kvitteringsmålet. Målet var hans 18:e ligamål – och därmed slog han Zlatan Ibrahimovics rekord från säsongen 2016/17.

Mer skulle det bli för landslagsanfallaren. i den 61:a minuten smällde han in ytterligare ett mål från straffpunkten. Målet betydde 3–1 till Newcastle.

Matchen slutade 5–1 till Newcastle och Sheffield United åker ur Premier League.
