MANILA, Philippines: The easterlies continue to bring warm and humid weather but some areas will have isolated rain showers especially in the late afternoon or at night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.
Pagasa forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to overcast skies in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency said the National Capital Region will likely have an air temperature of 35 degrees Celsius while Tuguegarao City will have 38 degrees Celsius.
The provinces of Cagayan and Pangasinan will again swelter with a dangerous heat index of 47 degrees Celsius.
