Parkinson‘s disease presents with tremor, bradykinesia, rigidity, and postural instability. It is a chronic progressive disease caused due to degenerative loss of the dopaminergic neurons present in the brain. The clinical subtypes include akinetic-rigid, tremor-dominant, postural instability, and gait difficulty. It usually develops at around 60 years of age, so most people with this disease live between 10 to 20 years after being diagnosed.
