Sky News host Peta Credlin has criticised the latest “sweetheart deal” between Labor and the unions regarding new rules put in place by the Queensland Labor government for any builders wanting to do major government work.

As reported, the deal locks in pay rises of five per cent a year for the next four years for construction workers whose minimum base rate of pay is already at least $100,000 a year for a 36-hour week.
There is also double pay for any overtime and two rostered days off every month in addition to four weeks of annual leave.
Ms Credlin said it is all a part of Labor’s agenda to “change the way we live”.
“This is hardly what Labor supporters mostly voted for at the last election, but it’s what all of us are getting under Labor governments,” Ms Credlin said.
