MSC Cruises’ MSC Poesia
MSC Cruises announced that a trio of celebrity chefs will join guests onboard MSC Poesia during the second leg of her 2024 World Cruise.
South African celebrity chef, restaurateur and media personality Reuben Riffel, veteran Brazilian Chef and restauranteur Allan Vila Espejo and Michelin-starred Swedish chef, TV personality and author Niklas Ekstedt will join the world cruise visiting 52 destinations across 31 countries at different intervals to prepare a complete menu from three to four courses.
Riffel will serve MSC guests a menu inspired by local flavors, including authentic cape spiced pickled fish, peppered Karoo lamb and malva pudding while Vila Espejo will craft authentic Manioc soup, Bahia-style fish stew with vegetables and coconut milk and a traditional Brazilian chocolate coconut cake.
Finally, Ekstedt will serve dishes inspired by natural ingredients and his farm-to-ocean ethos such as poached lobster and confit salmon.
In addition to cooking, all three chefs will also greet guests in person as they dine in the ship’s main restaurants.
There’s still time for travelers to book the last remaining cabins for shorter segments of MSC’s 2024 World Cruise. In December, bookings opened for MSC’s 2026 World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica.
