Senator Jacqui Lambie has announced she will quit social media platform X following billionaire Elon Musk’s response to the Albanese government’s request for graphic content removal.
“That bloke should not have a right to be out there on his own ideology platform and creating hatred, showing all this stuff out there to our kids and doing all the rest,” the Jacqui Lambie Network Senator told Sky News Australia.

“I don’t give a stuff about the platform – I am happy to go off the platform today.
“I will be switching off X today – I will be doing that before I get to the airport this afternoon.
“I suggest that the other 226 members of parliament do the same thing and show him that you mean business.”
