The destruction of the large landing ship Tsezar Kunikov enhances security in the Black Sea, thanks to the efforts of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, states President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“I thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the warriors of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – Group 13 of the 9th Department,” the president says.
According to him, today added more security in the Black Sea and more motivation for our people.
“This is important. Step by step, we will clear the Black Sea of Russian terrorist objects,” the president says.
Destruction of the Tsezar Kunikov landing ship
Information has spread on the network that a Russian large landing ship was attacked in the Black Sea. Explosions in Crimea began after 6:00 near Alupka. Locals claimed that an alarm sounded on the ship, after which explosions began. The detonation was heard, and thick smoke rose from the scene. Corresponding footage with smoke in the sea spread on the network.
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the Black Sea in the morning, the Defense Intelligence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian large landing ship Tsezar Kunikov.
Andrii Yusov, a representative of military intelligence, said that most of the crew of the Russian landing ship Tsezar Kunikov, which was destroyed in the Black Sea, could not be saved.
