How to get Liverpool FC tickets for Anfield in 2024/25

Buying a Liverpool FC ticket can be difficult if you are not already a season ticket holder.

Despite huge extensions to Anfield’s already impressive capacity fans from all over the world quickly snap up tickets to see the Reds play at the legendary stadium and the upcoming departure of Jurgen Klopp has only stoked demand for the 2023/24 season.

Below is a full guide to securing your seat at Anfield and getting your hands on Liverpool FC tickets this season and next.

If you are not a Liverpool FC member that should be the first thing you need to do. Becoming a member gives you access to tickets before they go on general sale to the public.

Getting access to tickets is just one of the perks of being a member. You also get discounts on stadium tours, LFCTV Go and the Liverpool FC store. Memberships for the 2024/25 season are not on sale yet but you can register your interest here.

Latest Liverpool FC ticket sales:

All sales have taken place but fans who are on the waiting list in positions one to 1,314 can access the waiting list sale from 11am on Monday 25 March until 10.15am on Tuesday 26 March.

Members with one Europa League home attendance can access tickets on Thursday 28 March at 8.15am.

When do 2024/25 Liverpool FC tickets go on sale?

There are two big dates you should add to your diary. Liverpool sell a large bulk of tickets twice a year in July and November and that will give members access to a large number of Premier League games.

The July date allows members to buy tickets for games up to January and the November sale is for tickets in the second half of the season from January onwards.

About four weeks before each game local members – those with an ‘L’ postcode – will be able to buy tickets in a local member’s sale. This is followed by a local general sale about a week for each game for non-members with a local postcode.

Finally, if there are any tickets left a members sale will take place. Liverpool says you should be logging on two weeks before the game and checking regularly as tickets become available.

If you want to buy tickets for a cup home game you will have to check the Liverpool FC website as ticket sale rules vary.

If you missed general sale

There are some other ways to potentially secure Liverpool FC tickets via a hospitality package. That means you will pay a little more but you get a host of extras ranging from food and drink, meet and greets with Liverpool legends, match day programmes and other perks.

There are a number of official partners where you can book and be secure in the knowledge that Liverpool has confirmed the seller as an official partner. Champions Travel offers Liverpool tickets and hospitality and has been approved by the club. You can see packages here.

Other official sellers include Seat Loader, Travel Connection and Sportsbreaks.com.

Can you get tickets for away games?

The Premier League says any ground with a capacity of 30,000 or more has to offer at least 3,000 tickets to away fans. For bigger grounds like Manchester United’s Old Trafford, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium or Spurs’ Tottenham Hotspur Stadium there are likely to be a few thousands more tickets available.

If the stadium is smaller than 30,000 – for example Bournemouth – the number of tickets drops to 10% of overall capacity.

It means demand for away tickets outstrips supply considerably and season ticket holders and members will secure all away tickets. It is very unlikely you will ever see away tickets on general sale.
