Mr Pocock said that was whether it was “rent” or “paying a mortgage”.
“Household spending, huge chunks of their take-home pay on housing,” Mr Pocock said.
“We need to be looking at Commonwealth rent assistance.
“We have a system that is set up to have property as an investment vehicle.”
