Grimsby residents talk politics

I think if I’m honest, I am one of those people that I don’t believe in what anybody. You don’t remember what people say. They only remember how they make you feel. And at the minute I’m waiting for someone to give me something that says excitement and hope. And I think a lot of people in the country, and especially in Greenery Cleethorpes, need some hope. And I’m waiting for whichever party it is to give you something that they’re really going to nail the colours to the mast and say this is how it’s going to make a difference to you, your family and your community. And that’s the way I’ll go. So at the minute I don’t know where I’m going. So at the moment, if there was an election tomorrow, I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t. No, after tonight may be different, do you know and that’s one of the things I’m hoping that. Locally that somebody can take that national picture, which a lot of people saying safe and digest that in a way that locally this could make a positive impact. You can’t change the world, you can’t change the country overnight. But as I can show you, going to make positive impact to Grimsby Community and Cleethorpes and the surrounding areas, I think that would be great. So hopefully I can get that because I would like to vote, but I don’t want to vote. I don’t want to vote uninformed. If you could fix one thing, change one thing about Grimsby and Cleethorpes, what would that one thing be? I think make it a magnet for people to move here, especially young people. I would definitely want to move out if I ever got the opportunity. I need a reason to stay beyond sort of family really if there was an election tomorrow. Yeah. Good question. And I’m undecided on that at the moment. I’m more inclined to. Yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know. Is it quite honest answer to that. I’m quite passive. Nobody’s convinced me. I don’t believe in the people at the moment, you know, they’re not connecting with the man in the stream, you know, And I’m not too sure who they’re connecting to or who they’re trying to connect to.
