An April 18 report alleging an award-winning Houston, TX surgeon manipulated records has grieving families searching for answers speaking at a press conference on Wednesday. The New York Times article accuses doctor J Steve Bynum Junior of Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center of manipulating records to ensure select patients became ineligible for receiving transplants. The article says US health officials are investigating after seeing evidence of irregularities in the waiting list. Biden has overseen the abdominal transplant program at the hospital since 2011. The transplant program at the center has been paused for investigation. Biden’s possible motives are unknown.
