Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson drops back to throw against the Houston Texans in the first quarter of their divisional round matchup.
The AFC and NFC games are set. Both No. 1 seeds are on to their respective conference championship games. The Detroit Lions will match up with the San Francisco 49ers after taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-23. The Kansas City Chiefs also get a ticket to the dance after a hard-fought affair against the Buffalo Bills, and will take on the dominant Baltimore Ravens.
Two well-rested top seeds did what they needed to do and are a step closer to Super Bowl glory. The Ravens took down the Houston Texans, and the San Francisco 49ers came back to defeat the Green Bay Packers in the first day of the NFL’s divisional round matchups.
On Sunday, the Detroit Lions mounted an inspired fourth-quarter campaign to dispatch the resurgent Buccaneers before a raucous home crowd. Later in the day, the Chiefs and Bills slugged it out on a frigid night in Buffalo. A classic showdown saw Patrick Mahomes and company on the winning side of the battle, 27-24.
