Sky News host Peta Credlin has criticised Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s speech on Thursday for being “another iteration of Labor’s green agenda”.
Labor is touting it as a “major speech” from the Prime Minister, “in a bid to boost our manufacturing capability while at the same time bolstering national security,” Ms Credlin said.
“We know that our ability to manufacture things domestically at competitive prices is not just good for prosperity but shores up our ability to defend ourselves,” she said.
“However, what the PM delivered today was just another iteration of Labor’s green agenda, pushing for further market intervention when it comes to green energy, modelled off President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.”
