Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi has reacted to a Democratic Congresswoman’s argument that banning male bodies at female sporting competitions hurts “all women”.
“Categorical bans on trans women harm all women,” Representative Pramila Jayapal said.
“That is why women’s organisations across the country including the Women’s Sports Foundation have denounced categorical bans on trans athletes for promoting fear, dangerous stereotypes, unfair scrutiny on high-performing female athletes and sex discrimination based on misinformation.”

Ms Jayapal continued by questioning how a girl or woman’s ‘reproductive anatomy’ can be verified.
“This is gaslighting on a mass scale,” Ms Panahi said.
