Gardaí appeal for information on electric motorbike linked to Drimnagh killing
GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for information on the movements of an electric motorbike linked to a fatal shooting in Drimnagh after midnight on Monday.
Investigators believe the black Talaria Sting motorbike was “used in connection with” the incident, having been observed in the vicinity of Dolphin Road, Crumlin Road and Davitt Road on Sunday night and into the early hours of Monday morning.
The motorbike has been seized by Gardaí, who are also seeking the rightful owner of the vehicle.
Josh Itseli (20), who was from the Kylemore area, was discovered with gunshot wounds on Knocknarea Road following an incident that left locals stunned.
Upon arriving at the scene, gardaí discovered two vehicles – a black Mercede Benz and a black Volkswagen Golf – which appeared to have been in a collision.

Gardaí offered first aid and despite these attempts, the young man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three men remain in garda detention over the killing at garda stations in the Dublin region under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
A garda statement said: “Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed a black Talaria Sting electric motorbike in the vicinity of Dolphin Road in recent days.
“Gardaí are also appealing to any taxi drivers, public service vehicle (PSV) drivers and any motorists who observed pedestrians, or who may have been approached by pedestrians, on Davitt Road in the early hours of Monday morning, 6th May 2024.”
A post-mortem has been completed, however, the results are not being released for operational purposes, gardaí added in a media statement.
An incident room has been established at Sundrive Road Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer.
