FDA issues warning about 4 food items being recalled due to severe allergy risk

Apr. 16—STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers about four food items being recalled for severe allergy risk.

The items contain undeclared allergens that could pose serious or life-threatening allergic reactions to those who consume them and have an allergy or sensitivity.

Here’s a look at each recall.

FEEL GOOD FOODS

Feel Good Foods is recalling its Gluten-Free Plain and Everything flavored Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels, as the products may contain undeclared gluten that may be present due to cross-contamination.

The bagels were distributed nationwide and can be found in the frozen section. The recalled Cream Cheese Stuffed Plain Mini Bagels with UPC 89903900283 and Cream Cheese Stuffed Everything Mini Bagels with UPC 89903900286 are packaged in cardboard cartons labeled with “Feel Good Foods” on the front panel and the bagel flavor listed below.

The recall includes all best by dates, ranging from May 29, 2024, to Sept. 17, 2025 — which is on the bottom of carton.

No other Feel Good Foods products are affected.

Consumers should stop eating the product and may visit their retailer for a full refund or dispose of the products. For those who have additional questions, please contact Feel Good Foods’ Customer Care Center via email at [email protected] or via phone at 1-800-638-8949.
