Epic Games Store Last Free Mystery Game for January 2024 Revealed
Epic Games Store Last Free Mystery Game for January 2024 Revealed
The Epic Games Store free mystery game promotion kicked off on December 13 with Destiny 2: Legacy Collection lasting a full week, and now it ends with the final free mystery game ending with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy also lasting a week. The wrapping paper came off at 10 am CT, revealing the free mystery game and also confirming next week’s normal addition of Sail Forth.
As many Epic Games Store users know, the service typically releases a new game on Thursday at 10 am CT while confirming what will be released the following Thursday. The service has now reverted to this schedule, instead of being like the last two weeks when a new game was revealed and released every day at 10 am CT. Still, ending on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a good call.

“As chaotic as [the gameplay] gets and despite any faults players may have with it, it’s hard not to feel like Star-Lord himself at the end of the game. For a game with such a heavy focus on narrative and choices, player investment is crucial, and Guardians of the Galaxy delivers tenfold.”
