SASSA: Which social grants are there? And more info!

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) administrates South African welfare grants. Anyone can apply for social welfare grants. You can receive government’s help if you aren’t making ends meet, or if someone in your household needs assistance.

But which social grants are there?

There’s the Disability Grant, Child Support, and Elderly Persons (Older Persons) Grant.

Social grants are there to help. You have to apply for one first.

You can apply for the SRD grant if you are unemployed or looking for work.
