A trough of Low Pressure Area (LPA) may bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers in southern Mindanao, PAGASA said Sunday.
It warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate and heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the weather bureau said a ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) will be extending over the eastern section of northern Luzon.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur.
The eastern section of Northern Luzon will have light to moderate wind moving East to Southeast. The coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind moving East to Northeast and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will set over Metro Manila at 6:11 p.m. and the sunrise will be at 5:39 a.m. on Monday.—Sherylin Untalan/RF, GMA Integrated News
