Wall Street is ointed toward a higher oen this morning. The markets are coming off a mixed session, the Dow having snapped a six day losing streak. But the NASDAQ and S&P ended in the red for the third straight day. Ford is recalling more than 450,000 compact SU VS and pickup trucks in the United States. Safety regulators say a low battery charge that can go undetected can lead to the loss of drive power, and some electrical features like hazard lights may not work properly. Recall includes the Bronco sports SUV made between 2022 and this year and the Maverick pickup made in 2022 and 2023. Red Lobster is considering whether to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Bloomberg reports the seafood chain is getting advice on restructuring from outside lawyers. Red Lobster is looking to shed some long term contracts and renegotiate several leases. The company has been weighed down by rising costs for labor and real estate. For CNBC Business News, I’m Bertha Coombs.
