Director Elan reveals his desire to make a biopic on Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja is one of the phenomenal music directors of Kollywood. The music composer has captured the hearts of the audience since the 2000s and is still winning many with his unique and slow compositions. On the work front, the music composer recently worked with director Elan for the upcoming film ‘Star’ which is set for its release in theatres tomorrow May 10. The songs from the film are a huge hit among the fans.
Director Elan in a recent promotional interview hinted that he desires to make a biopic on Yuvan Shankar Raja. He revealed that he narrated a one line idea about the biopic to the composer himself and he liked it. Elan added that the project will materialize soon if everything goes well. The news is now doing rounds on social media and the fans are excited over the buzz.
You all know that music composer Ilaiyaraaja, who is the father of Yuvan Shankar Raja is also having his biopic made. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the story is written by Kamal Haasan, and Dhanush will be playing the lead role in it and the music for it will be composed by the maestro Ilaiyaraaja himself. The official announcement of the film has been made and the makers are finalising the cast and crew of the film. It is said to go on floors by the end of this year.
