‘Didn’t comply with Modi, so they arrested my daughter’
HYDERABAD: Describing the BJP as a ‘dangerous party’, BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said it was certain to face defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. The former CM said a coalition govt with regional parties will come power in which the BRS will have a crucial role.
Addressing an election meeting in Nizamabad, KCR said BJP would get 210 seats at best. “All this claim of 400 seats or more by BJP is nothing but bogus talk,” KCR said.
“I did not comply with what PM Narendra Modi asked me to do and my daughter (Kavitha) was arrested. I will not bow to Modi. I will not compromise. I will continue my fight,” he said.
KCR said the BRS had an edge of 4% vote share against both the BJP and Congress in Nizamabad as per their assessment. He urged the people not to vote for the Congress as it would ensure victory of BJP by default. He also cautioned the people not to fall for BJP’s politics in the name of religion.
