Diane Lane to be Honored at Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Spring Luncheon in Beverly Hills
Diane Lane has a date with the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai.
The veteran actress, who is now starring in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, will be honored with the guild’s Woman of the 21st Century award during a gala luncheon set to be held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on May 9. The afternoon program will also see Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills vice president and general manager Gretchen Pace lauded with a humanitarian award.
Also planned for the event is an Akris fashion show presented by Neiman Marcus, a luxury handbag silent auction by Elyse Walker and Women’s Guild annual raffle featuring fine jewelry by XIV Karats, designer fashion accessories and other items.
TV host and entertainment reporter Amanda Luttrell Garrigus will host the luncheon and fashion show. Penny Goldwater, Linda Lippman and Atoosa Nehorai will serve as chairs with Wendy Goldberg, Lorette Gross and Barbara Herman as advisory chairs, and Cathy Louchheim and Daniele Worth Ochoa as honorary luncheon chairs.
For more than 65 years, Women’s Guild has supported healthcare through research and innovation. Women’s Guild members have raised north of $70 million in fundraising support of Cedars-Sinai’s critical work including Women’s Guild distinguished chair in pediatrics, Women’s Guild neurology project, Women’s Guild simulation center for advanced clinical skills, Women’s Guild chair in gastroenterology, Women’s Guild lung institute and the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center, a project of Women’s Guild at Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
