Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd recently held an appreciation night with bankers, media, analysts and agents to celebrate the completion of M Oscar.
Located 800m from Taman Naga Emas MRT station, the fully sold M Oscar marks Mah Sing’s debut residential development in the well-established Sri Petaling neighbourhood surrounded by excellent connectivity and ready amenities.
Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said the completion of M Oscar marked another milestone in the company’s journey of excellence.
M Oscar, he said, was the first development completed by Mah Sing this year and stood as a testament to their dedication in creating homes that met and exceeded customers’ expectations.
“We are proud to see our vision come to life and look forward to continuing to enrich lives through exceptional developments,” he said, citing six plots of land acquired since 2023 that the company planned to launch this year.
“Earlier this month, we also acquired another 40ha of land in Pulai, Johor Baru to develop M Tiara 2.
“Moving forward, we will continue to acquire attractively priced lands in strategic locations to meet future market demand for homes,” he said.
Over the years, Mah Sing’s M Series developments have achieved impressive take-up rates, and it achieved RM2.26bil in property sales in 2023, surpassing its RM2.2bil target.
This year, Mah Sing plans to launch all its new developments acquired since 2023.
These include M Tiara in Johor, as well as M Zenya in Kepong and M Azura in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
Selangor will see M Terra and M Hana in Puchong, as well as M Legasi in Semenyih, while Mah Sing Business Park in Sepang will expand the group’s industrial development portfolio.
M Oscar achieved a commendable 85% score for the Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
The certification was presented by CIDB Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Zaid Zakaria.
Mah Sing group chief executive officer and executive director Datuk Voon Tin Yow said Mah Sing was proud of consistently surpassing industry standards with its Qlassic scores.
“This achievement speaks volumes about the dedication and hard work of our team.
“It also reaffirms our commitment to delivering projects of the highest quality.
“For this, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to our partners including our consultants and contractors, who played a role in the success of M Oscar.”
Also at the celebration were Mah Sing corporate administration vice-president Puan Sri Sulvian Leong, executive director Datuk Seri Leong Yuet Mei, deputy group chief executive officer and executive director Lionel Leong, chief operating officer Chris Chen, group strategy and operations directors Rachel Leong and Jane Leong and property subsidiaries chief executive officers Benjamin Ong and Yeoh Chee Beng.
M Oscar, with a gross development value of approximately RM590mil, comprises two towers with a total of 910 units, comprising four unit types with built-ups ranging from 708sq ft to 1,198sq ft.
Its 1ha facility podium comes with a huge array of facilities and multiple zones designed to be space for the community to gather and bond.
The project straddles well-established neighbourhoods of Jalan Kelang Lama, Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil and Salak South, and sits within a 10km radius of KLCC, Cheras, Ampang, Petaling Jaya and Seri Kembangan.
These well-established residential communities are accessible via major highways including New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) and Maju Expressway (MEX).
Residents will also be able to enjoy the retail convenience of NSK Trade City just 2.2km away, while within a 5km radius there are shopping malls such as Mid Valley Megamall, Nu Sentral, Mytown, Sunway Velocity and Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
