Denny's unveils new limited-time menu items for the spring

• Denny’s restaurants began offering four new limited-time menu items today 
• A video and photos of their Berry Waffle Slam were uploaded onto Denny’s TikTok and Instagram accounts
• The restaurant chain has also brought back all-day diner deals  

Denny’s restaurants are celebrating spring with new limited-time menu items, including a berry waffle slam and a scrumptious dessert.

The restaurant chain’s four new menu items became available for customers to snack on starting today. The other new items are a barbecue bacon chicken sandwich, a brownie sundae with Oreo pieces and cinnamon sugar pancake puppies.

Sharon Lykins, Denny’s vice president of product innovation, is especially amped up for the new menu items.

‘Our guests have always loved the variety of breakfast options at Denny’s, and the Berry Waffle Slam is a delightful addition to our lineup,’ she said. ‘These new menu items are sure to please both loyal guests and newcomers alike.’

Denny’s will also bring back all-day diner deals starting at $5.99 to celebrate the spring season.

The berry waffle slam is a savory treat with two Liège-style waffles topped with seasonal berries and sea salt caramel sauce.

The slam also comes with bacon, sausage links and two eggs.

It’s become popular on social media and according to an Instagram video featured on Denny’s Instagram, ‘Pronouncing “Liège” is hard’ but eating the Liège-style Berry Waffle Slam is not.

Denny’s Rewards members are also in luck with this new item since the program is now offering a 20 percent discount on the berry waffle slam now until the end of April.

Customers who are not reward members can order this item in the restaurant or online now for $14.59.

Waffles may not be for everybody, and in that case, customers can choose to try Denny’s new cinnamon sugar pancake puppies.

Not only are the pancake puppies ‘fried to perfection,’ but they are also served with cream cheese icing.

‘Pancake Puppies are like sweet hush puppies but made from pancake mix that are fried and dipped into a sweet icing. A super fun, delicious dessert!,’ a review wrote for The Country Cook in 2021.

Customers who aren’t in the mood for breakfast can enjoy Denny’s new barbecue bacon chicken sandwich.

The sandwich includes chicken that’s covered in barbecue sauce with bacon, white cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and sliced pickles. The sandwich also comes with a delicious side of wavy cut fries.

Denny’s guests who aren’t full yet can enjoy a nice chocolatey brownie sundae with Oreo pieces for desert.

This sweet treat includes a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate sauce. The chocolate dessert will likely make a Denny’s customer with a sweet tooth smile and they only have to spend $5.39 to enjoy it.
