Dela Rosa warns Trillanes: Ex-PNP chief tagged in ‘ouster plot’ might beat you up
MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has been warned after linking a former police chief in an alleged plot to oust President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“Sabihan mo si Trillanes na yung former PNP chief na kinausap nya, baka mabugbog pa sya noong former PNP chief na yun. Galit na galit sa kanya,” Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said in an interview over ANC’s Headstart on Wednesday.

Dela Rosa also branded Trillanes’ ouster plot allegations as lies.
In a press conference on Tuesday, the former senator alleged that active and past police officials, including a former Philippine National Police chief, were part of the ouster plot.
“Davao group… and a retired PNP chief,” Trillanes said when asked about those involved in the ouster plot.
Dela Rosa, who once served as PNP chief during the Duterte administration, dismissed the supposed ouster move against Marcos.
“Naghahanap lang ng attention yang tao na yan. E bakit ko sya papatulan, naghahanap lang ng attention yan,” he said.

Directly addressing the former senator, Dela Rosa also said that he is not an “attack dog.”
“I’m not an attack dog, Mr. Trillanes, pasensya na hindi kita gagayahin at hindi ka dapat gagayahin kasi yung ginagawa mo ay hindi maganda,” said the senator.
(I’m not an attack dog, Mr. Trillanes. I’m sorry, but I won’t stoop to your level because your actions aren’t right.)
