The drive-away deals represent savings of up to $4000, depending on the variant, and apply from the entry-level Cannon 4×2 to the recently introduced Cannon-XSR flagship variant. The only GWM Ute variants without a drive-away deal at the moment are the Cannon-CC 4×2 and Cannon-L CC.

The GWM Ute is one of the more affordable entrants in the highly competitive ute segment in Australia.

All variants are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel producing 120kW of power and 400Nm of torque. This is mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.

Braked towing capacity across the entire GWM Ute range is 3000kg, while payload varies but is as high as 1120kg.
