Lancastrians wanted to take part in series 3 of The Traitors on BBC

The producers behind the hit deception show, The Traitors, say they will be back for a third series – and are looking for people to take part.

The Traitors is already seven episodes into its second season – and the nation is gripped. In the murder-mystery-style psychology game, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, 22 strangers play to win up to £120,000 at a Scottish castle.

Last year, the first series of the show very quickly became a hit show was watched by an average of 5.4 million viewers across the country. This year there are three people from Lancashire taking part in the series – but do you think you would make a good Traitor?

The show, which is shot in the nineteenth-century Ardross Castle just north of Inverness, is still in full flow. However the firm behind the production, Studio Lambert, has confirmed it is set to return for a third series – and you could be one of the stars.

Studio Lambert posted that they are looking for more people to follow in the footsteps of volunteer business mentor Sonja, retired teacher Diane and video director Ross.

“Expect trickery, betrayal and backstabbing. Do you have what it takes to play?

“APPLY NOW. Get them, before they get you!”

The closing date for applications is February 11. Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and must be available to take part in the programme for up to four weeks, currently anticipated to be in Spring/Summer 2024.
