82 combat clashes took place at the front line within a day in Ukraine. Russian invaders heavily attacked in the direction of Maryinka, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
In total, the enemy carried out 2 missile strikes and 19 air strikes, conducting 68 shelling attacks from rocket artillery systems on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged.
The following locations were subjected to aerial strikes: Komisarove in the Kharkiv region; Serebrianske forestry in the Luhansk region; Terny, Rozdolivka, Druzhkivka, Avdiivka, Hеorhiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region; Stavky in the Mykolaiv region.
Over 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Situation at the frontlines
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 enemy attacks near Synkivka, Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction, the defense forces thwarted 5 attacks by occupiers in the areas of the settlements Terny, and Torske in the Donetsk region, and 2 more attacks near Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 8 enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klischiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which is attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the aggressors. During the past day, the defense forces repelled 6 attacks in the areas of the settlements Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, and another 10 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, defenders continue to restrain the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 25 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled 6 attacks by occupiers southeast of Vodyane, Zolota Nyva, and west of Staryi Mykolaiv in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the defense forces thwarted 3 enemy attacks southeast of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the defense forces continue efforts to expand the foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy persists in attempting to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past day, the adversary carried out 6 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian forces.
Enemy losses
During the past day, missile forces units launched strikes on 3 personnel concentration areas, armament, and military equipment locations, as well as on 1 additional crucial target of the enemy.
