PETALING JAYA: “Wait for us on the other side,” Zakaria Md Disa wrote as he mourned his friend Warrant Officer II Muhammad Faisol Tamadun.
Faisol was among the 10 crew members killed in a mid-air collision between two Royal Malaysian Navy helicopters at the Lumut naval base, in Perak on Tuesday (April 23).
“Al Fatihah my friend Muhammad Faisol Tamdun. May everything be eased on the other side. Wait for us,” he wrote in a Facebook post after the crash.
Muhammad Faisol was one of the 10 crew members in two helicopters, who perished after their choppers collided during rehearsal training at the Royal Malaysian Navy stadium in Lumut, Perak.
A video of the incident showed one of the helicopters clipping the tail rotor of the other before the two crashed onto the ground.
