Consumer sentiment jumps to 79.4, best level since July '21

Let’s get to Rick Santelli again. Hey Rick, Yes, Boy, we have some surprises here. Looking at University of Michigan, these are March final reads 79 point 479.4. This is a huge jump. That’s the best level since July of 21, July of 21. And it doesn’t stop there. Expectations 77.4 July of 21. Current conditions 82.5 July of 21. All three metrics are the best since July of 21, which means and not that many months. We’re looking at three years since we’ve seen numbers on Michigan this strong. Now let’s go to what may be the most important part here. The inflation reads now on one year. Two point 92.9, well the mid month read was 3%. These are mid month to final reads and they moved a lot. 2.9 equals what we started out the year and that was the lowest level since deese of 20 days of 20 to get a lower number than 2.9. If we look at 5 to 10 year, same scenario, we’re expecting it to remain at mid month to 2.9. It moves down to 2.82 point 8 which equals. Equals September of 23, September of 23. To find a smaller one, you’re looking at April of 21, April of 21. So these numbers are definitely hot in terms of what confidence levels we’re looking at, but cooler in terms of the pricing, which should be perfect. Perfect for Treasury yields to move down more.
