Flight FLE 903 left the Sunshine Coast at 9 am bound for Hawaii, and then Canada.
The livery of that aircraft, known as Bruce, is all Bonza, but the flight number FLE stands for Flair Airlines, the Canadian discount carrier.
There are questions for Bonza’s backer, the Miami-based 777 Partners, that same group also backed Flair.
The Canadian airline says it has alternative funding, but AIP Capital which has ties to 777, terminated the Bonza aircraft leases just 90 minutes before it collapsed.
The court has been told Bonza has over 60,000 creditors, including employees and almost 58,000 customers with forward bookings.
