A pastor who allegedly paid a hitman $40,000 to kill his daughter’s boyfriend was arrested on Tuesday.rot

Samuel Pasillas, 47, the pastor of at the Spanish-speaking church, Centro Internacional de Oracion in Victorville, California was charged for the shooting which happened in October.

According to the Riverdale Police Department the victim is unidentified but was believed to be romantically involved with the Pasillas’ daughter.

In a press statement, they said: ‘During their investigation, detectives uncovered evidence the father met with the men he hired and provided them information about the victim, including his location the evening of the shooting.

‘The male adult victim stated he was driving on Grove Community Drive approaching Plainview Street when another vehicle pulled up alongside him.

‘Gunfire came from this other vehicle and he was struck several times.’

It is also alleged that Pasillas paid the hitmen to watch the man for weeks before the shooting happened.

Miraculously, the man was able to drive himself to a nearby hospital where he was treated for the gunshots which he is still recovering from.

Pasillas was arrested and charged with solicitation for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon – and he pleaded not guilty.

It is reported that religion could have played a factor in the attempted murder but no official motive has been given.

Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, who is believed to be one of the hitmen, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon.

They are both being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, each on $1 million bails.

Court records show that at least one other person is wanted in connection with the murder and is yet to be charged.
